Lessons learnt - part III.
Petition time and first formation of protest movements
When I look back on the first and second part of this reflection and compare it with outside world today, I have strange feeling like it was some kind of dream or hallucinations.
Now, almost 4 years after the brutal assault on people seems to be just distant memory. When I went out yesterday, to get some fresh air, movement and short coffee stop I didn’t even know, that we have again state holiday of Independence of foundation Czechoslovakia. This time, I don’t think there is anything to celebrate.
I do feel huge shame and regrets for people who used to be proud and intelligent nation not shortly 100 years ago. Even the Prague Spring 1968 or the following era was in the spirit of independence and fight against the totalitarian regime.
The events which we lived since the March 2020 can be described as forceful takeover of government and can’t be interpreted differently than as huge disgrace and humiliation of anyone who believed in First Czechoslovakia Republic or democratically ideals. It was more like Nazi occupation since 1939 - 1944 and the collaboration was astonishingly high.
During my walk, I have passed around police station where suddenly now flying the Czech National flag, probably many “good” people who fight hard during covid to cripple and kill their fellow citizens are now the most loyal nationalist as world could ever seen. Good for them. The Ukraine flag is gone, the slogans, guidence’s and their actions should be forgotten and yes, we always supported democracy. What matters, that we put in prison people for 5 years just because they expressed their discontent with government. No, those were the bad communists, we are on the right side of history and we are only democratical force here, what matters, that we do exactly the same? We support West and we have to be good, look on us, on our faces, we are the good one even when we look like zombies! Personal note - you are worse then communists, they at least said it openly and were proud on it.
That’s the current situation but let’s return back to history.
January 2021
A long time ago, in place far away I woke up after the New Years celebration and checked local media. The coronavirus fear mongering was still everywhere. People are dying! It’s national crisis and we have to declare emergency state and use borrowed money to shutdown all people business and pay our police and military to keep them at home. We can only loosen the regulations, when elections are coming - as we seen in Autumn 2020 with Regional Elections.
In this case, my logical thinking was that the leaders who are doing in are the evil one. So, if we will exchange Trump and Babis (local prime Minister) everything will be good as opposition is criticizing them very harshly, so for sure they would not do exactly the same thing. I even remember, that I bet money in Autumn on Biden victory, since there was some short window before elections when the Betting Offices were open.
To get my money I had to wait till end of January as there were some disputes in court and the winner was unclear. My astonishment was, that even when the Regime changed in USA the lockdown policy just continued even worsened.
Bring back kids to school!
In January 2021 I wrote open-letter to our Prime Minister, Mr. Babis stating there that “I won’t support any government in upcoming elections which is supporting the lockdown policy”. This didn’t have effect. Nobody reacted and the lockdown continued unaffected.
I started to be really worried, as people were getting into some kind of psychosis or mass-formation. In this case I decide to start attending different protests groups which were focusing on raising awareness and trying to reduction of harms caused by the lockdown in different areas of life.
During one gathering front of the Ministry of Education when parents with families protested against the schools closures I suggested to them, that maybe we could start gathering with other teachers and parents to try to raise awareness that the school closures are crippling the kids, students and their mental development. They agreed and this was origin of the movement “Bring back kids to school”.
We organized a lot of actions - notably, I was presented on the “The funeral of Czech Education” at 19th of February 2021 front of the Pedagogical Faculty in Prague, where they tried to satirically point out, that if this will continue Czech Education will die forever.
On Day of Teachers in March 2021 there were cruise ships over Vltava river with aim of attract attention and bring energy with new opening and never closing again. That was in the March 2021 - one year after the Covid Coup happened.
Retrospectively, I have to say, that it didn’t have much real effect. Czech Schools stayed closed for longest in Europe and the damage to kids was probably biggest in the world.
At that time, we probably didn’t understood the scale and amount of corruption and indoctrination in academia, schools and between state workers. Also we didn’t thought it was so big political issue connected with Woke, USA and whole collapse of Neo-Liberal order.
The thinking was that our government is really working for us and they have good intentions just don’t understand the situation or don’t have access to information’s.
Well, I can say that now, we were incredibly naive and not well informed, put it politically correct.
If someone still believes in the virus story, the problem with this protests was that we coudn’t communicate with others. All the places for gathering like pubs were either closed or restricted for indoor limits of 10 people. The online communication was jammed as the censorship was already in place and most of people used Facebook, Twitter and their posts just simply disappeared. I was also banned from Twitter I think in January 2021? But I discovered SubStack, which was only alternative.
As well the order not cross the regions was in place, so for any gathering of multiple people you were breaking rules as they would identify you and fine you for not staying in your region. It was really clever thought out. There was also movement which refused to obey the order to close down the pubs - called “Free Zones” or “Animap.Fr”.
It was places where we could meet with others and usually discuss or sign petition to reopen again the gastro branches. The police took good look on this “disobedient” owners and usually they destroyed them or police patrols went there regularly to force them close it down.
Our fellow citizens and media
Interesting part of this resistance was the constant vilification of anyone who resisted by the media and our fellow citizens. It didn’t matter if you protested against school closures, pubs reopening, policy brutality, gathering restrictions or origin of virus story (as correctly described already by Sona Pekova in March 2021).
When I go back in memory, there was one protest in Prague which was streamed in Television and where they catch me on the picture. My Grandmother seen that and called me over phone to explain the situation. She at that time really believed that the Government was trying to help her, that there is deadly virus and thought that we are protesting against the older people, spreading the virus and we want them to die, because the restrictions are for their protection.
I tried to explain to her, that it’s not like the media present it and I think I was successful. My grandmother even when she is now 83 is one of few persons who was really in danger but understood what they have done to them.
I can’t say that for anyone around who still don’t have clue what has happened or still believe the “narrative”. Also I have to pin point that she survived all the measures and whole “deadly” pandemic.
With Media, I think there is nothing what I can say about them which wasn’t already said. It’s simply propagandistic machine without any content. I am glad that I isolated my self from those monsters and I really think world would be better place without them. I won’t go into this again, as they are beneath my discernment. Those people are human garbage. Simple as that.
The virus election shift
To make it shorter, in the end I would like to focus on one interesting aspect which I noticed during this transition period. In USA it was probably some but here I observed it personally.
During the first covid lockdown and year 2021 one or multiple of my friends from academy joined my in resistance gatherings which was against the lockdown policy. They claimed that the virus is not dangerous, the policy is nonsensical and even sign the petition to reopen the pubs and rollback the restrictions.
Strange thing happened with their perception of the virus when our Czech Republic government changed in Autumn 2021. Since Babis was oriented to Trump (even visited him in White House) they strongly opposed the lockdown and any measures against the virus as imposed by the Babis (Trump) government.
As soon as the Government changed and Babis went into opposition, the same policies imposed by Fiala (Biden- friendly government) were not so terrible even though they were exactly identical. They just switched 360 degrees and started supporting this whole “deadly virus” story, specially with now stance that the measures are justified - probably due to money they were getting? Hard to say, but sadly those fools get eventually the vaccine as well, which is for me little bit of satisfaction.
It’s not good to change your medical or logical conclusions according to politics guys, it can cost you also your health and whole life. Think about that.
This part was little bit longer as we focused mostly on Czech Republic, which is understandable as we had yesterday the celebration of Independence of Czechoslovakia but next part I will go into the my journey in March 2021 into Lyon, Spain where we also discussed the Great Barrington Declaration with one Spanish friend and the Summer in Craoiva, Romania where the My-Covid-Story forum was setup and also I will touch little bit on C.J. Hopkins and our way to Berlin, during the hard lockdown. I also think I got letter from AIER in 2021 January but as many things happened, I would have to dig into my archives, where it is.
